Committee Meeting

Hello everyone!

Just a reminder, Thursday evening, 2/7/08, is the February Committee meeting for Pack 445. We will meet at Mike Hinderer's home ( 19735 Deerfield Ct. 645-4082) at 7pm.

I would appreciate having as many of you attend as possible as we will need to solidify our plans for the Blue and Gold banquet and the Pinewood Derby. As most of you know, the committee meeting is a standing meeting for the first Thursday night of the month.

All Den Leaders and Committee members are encouraged to attend. Have a safe week.

The Blue and Gold Banquest is Coming

In February, we'll host the annual Blue & Gold Banquet. It will happen on February 23 at Beach Middle School in Chelsea, beginning at 2:30. It starts with the usual den-based potluck, and the awards and Pack business, and, have no fear, there is swimming afterwards.

Here is the proposed timeline:

1:30pm Set up for Banquet at Beach Middle School Cafeteria
2:30pm Pot Luck Dinner
3:15pm Pack Meeting and Webelos II cross over
4:30pm Clean up and change for pool party
5:00pm Pool Party - Beach Middle School Pool
6:00pm Pool Party ends

This is a biggie, and everyone should make firm plans to attend. We hand out major awards. We watch the Webelo II's cross over to Boy Scouting. The time, date, and place are still tbd; this is always a pot luck by den, so prepare to make that famous Basmati Rice of yours to pass!
